Inside-out is calling on all members to assist with collecting specific books for correctional facilities in Gauteng after receiving feedback of needs from correctional officials.
The first call is for Pregnancy and Parenting related books for expecting mothers at the Johannesburg Female Correctional Centre of Excellence. These moms and little ones are far from home and family, so any books that can help them through this special journey of motherhood and parenting would be greatly appreciated!
The second call is for National Certificate (Vocational) textbooks for levels 1 through 6 for incarcerated Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students. These students are working towards an education and training with a view towards a specific range of employment or entrepreneurial possibilities, that offer them a chance to support themselves and their families after their release.
You can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for donations.
Thanking you in advance for your contributions!
